Key Account Sales Manager

The purpose of this role will be to increase the revenue of Trenchard Aviation between £6m and £10m per annum by developing and establishing new and/or existing business opportunities within the aerospace MRO/OEM cabin interiors industry. Mapping out organisation group individuals and building relationships of key stakeholders within the airline/MRO environments will be key to the success of this role. The candidate will need to have a proven history of positive revenue generation and demonstrate current key relationships within their portfolio.


Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop all internal and external aspects of the existing sales function, including implementation of processes, pricing, tools and systems to
identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor and report

The development and management of processes to identify and evaluate existing
business opportunities

The development and management of processes to identify and evaluate new business opportunities


Key Qualifications

Relevant experience working in sales with exposure to a commercial aviation environment being essential and aviation business acumen and financial literacy required

Solid understanding of the cabin interior MRO and OEM industry

Excellent reputation within the industry with a proven network at director and key decision maker level

Good communicator, both verbally and in writing

Team player, with the ability to balance commercial and risk aspects of decisions

Direct experience in the cabin refurb and MRO Sector

Superior negotiation and persuasive skills

Ability to demonstrate consistent sales achievement over the target and people leadership in the Sales/Business Development function preferably in the aviation service and maintenance industry

Proven capability to engage and lead sales/marketing teams in large complex environments at executive levels

Must possess a high personal profile and a strong professional reputation and network among aviation customers and their representatives

This position also requires the ability to generate effective oral and written presentations and proposals on complex subjects

Ability to travel within the UK and internationally frequently
