Carry out maintenance tasks in line with given instruction. Works closely with Technical Team Leaders to deliver quality product on time.


Key Responsibilities

Repair aircraft seats and other non-electrical aircraft interior components. To CMM, SB and Part 145 regulations/standards

Complete seat work sheet and file Job I.A.W 145 standards

Maintain data base of all work undertaken

EASA 145 Form 1 signature

Be responsible for your own health and safety and for that of your colleagues as set out in the Health and Safety Policy

To follow airside security procedures when appropriate working airside at airports

To perform the job in line with the Company’s policies and procedures which may be obtained from your supervisor, department manager or the Quality Manager

Attend customer meetings

Maintain inventory of customer supplied parts

Drive company vehicle

The majority of the workload is based at Heathrow


Key Qualifications

City and Guilds (or similar) in an appropriate engineering subject

Be good at communication & a team player

Self-motivated, able to use own initiative Good communicator

Good time management skills

Able to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures

Full UK driving licence

Must hold valid passport

Provide full 5 year background check

Able to hold a UK airports airside pass

Previous experience as a mechanical fitter

Light engineering tools and practices Mechanical fitting

Part 145 regulations and standards

Safe working practices

Driving licence
